Questions about LED technology and lighting controls
What is the maximum length of continuous rooflights?

Our continuous line in the products easy connect LED120 and FLEXblue can have a length of up to 100 meters per segment.
With easy connect LED120plus and FLEXblue+ up to 75 meters are possible. Up to 2 full-length light strips can be connected to the lighting control system.
What power supply is required for the continuous line?
Our strip lights are operated on 230V mains voltage. The rectifier supplied by us converts the AC voltage into DC voltage. If the strip light is operated without a rectifier, it flickers very strongly.
Incidentally, the emergency lighting works with 24V DC. This is supplied via our lighting control unit, which is connected to 230V AC. Of course, you can also connect our Plus light strip to an existing UPS.
Can the Switch light strip be shortened?
Our light strip can be shortened at 1-meter intervals at the designated points. If required, we can supply a corresponding set with end cap and shrink tubing for the correct termination.
Shortening is only permitted by a qualified electrician; shortening voids the warranty.
Can the light strip be repaired by Switch?

Our continuous-row lighting systems stand for industrial quality, durability and reliability. Nevertheless, wear and tear or defects can occur over time.
If an LED system stops working, we will help you to get the system up and running again quickly. In the interests of sustainability, we are also happy to repair our products. Simply contact us to find out more.
Repairs may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Which light suits which room (color temperature etc.)?
Our work light has a light color of approx. 5000 Kelvin. This corresponds to daylight and is perfect for working. When it reaches 6000 Kelvin, the light appears blue. Colors, e.g. of electrical wires, can then no longer be easily distinguished.
For ambient lighting, we recommend a warmer light in the 2700-3000 Kelvin range.
